Delete your account

Back to Player

You can delete your Back to Player account at any time. Here's how, and what happens to your data.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Back to Player and go to Profile.
2. Tap Settings (the gear icon).
3. Scroll down, tap Delete account, and confirm.

If you have an upcoming coaching session, cancel it first — we won't leave a coach or a player waiting.

Without the app

Email backtoplayer.tennis@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

• Your profile, photos, answers and BTP level.
• Your gameplay clips and review reports.
• Your matches, match results and chats (match, group and coaching-session chats).
• Your location and notification settings.
• If you signed in with Apple, the App's access to your Apple ID is revoked.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment records (amount, date, payment status) — kept as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. We never store card or bank details.
• Coaching sessions you booked (date, venue, coach and price) — kept for the coach's records and so any refund you're owed still goes through, with nothing that links them to you.
• Safety reports filed about an account — kept with only the name, so our team can act on repeat abuse.
• Backups — removed or anonymized within 30 days.
