Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Back to Player app (the "App"), operated by Suyash Kansal ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18 or older to use the App.
You sign in with your email and password, or with your Google account. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
You agree to provide accurate profile information.

2. The service

Back to Player helps players find nearby players, book coaching sessions, get video reviews, and maintain a player rating. We provide the platform; we are not a party to the actual coaching or matches, which happen between users.

3. Conduct & safety

Treat other users with respect. Harassment, abuse, or unsafe behavior is prohibited.
Meet in safe, public courts. We show only area and approximate distance, never exact locations.
You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other users. We do not conduct background checks on players.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Coaches

Coaches are independent providers, not our employees. The "Verified" badge indicates we reviewed basic credentials; it is not a guarantee.
Coaches set their own rates and availability and are responsible for the quality and legality of their services, including any work with minors.

5. Bookings, payments & cancellations

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are shown before payment and are computed on our servers.
Cancellations & refunds: bookings are non-refundable. Any cancellation or refund is granted at our sole discretion.
Refunds, where we grant them, are returned to the original payment method.
We may charge a platform or service fee, which will be disclosed before payment.

6. Video reviews

You may upload short clips (up to 30 seconds) for review. You confirm you have the right to upload the footage and that it does not violate anyone's privacy or rights.
Coaches' review notes are opinions for your improvement, not professional guarantees.

7. Ratings

Your rating is computed from your self-reported level and private peer ratings. Ratings you submit about others are private. Do not abuse the rating system.

8. Content & licence

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service (for example, to deliver your clip to the assigned coach).

9. Prohibited use

No illegal activity, scraping, reverse engineering, spamming, impersonation, or attempts to deanonymize other users' locations.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The App is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for interactions between users off-platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India; disputes are subject to the courts of New Delhi.
